Good news chez Urkadur!
I am one of the 24 semi-finalists in this year's Buckminster Fuller Challenge.
Please take a look at my fledgling website:

The second set of judges will be visiting the site over the next few weeks, so in addition to repairing my dead links and doing some cosmetic changes, I need hits - lots of hits, preferably from all over. Please pass this on to anyone you know who's a bucky fan, or who believes that technology is the only shot we have to get out of the mess that technology has brought us.

After what seems like years of reflection, I will be retiring this journal. I started it for several good reasons, and all those reasons seem to be fulfilled.
If I were to use this for instrospection, I would be better suited just typing onto my hard drive.
If I were to use this to meet new people, I would first have to need or desire to meet new people.
If I were to use this for keeping touch with friends and loved-ones, we certainly all have each others' email addresses.
If I were to use this for goofing off at work, well that's a lousy reason, isn't it?
